Our house is a beautiful Fifteenth Century medieval timber framed house – the Second Oldest House in Hastings! – right in the in the heart of the historic Old Town.

We have one first floor guest bedroom with a very comfortable queen sized bed that sleeps two adults, a modern kitchen with all amenities and a newly fitted bathroom with a free-standing roll-topped bath and separate power shower.

Boligen
The house is located right in the middle of the quirky and picturesque Old Town; we are just across the road from the famous Judges organic bakery and very close to numerous coffee shops, restaurants, pubs, shops, antique centres, and a pebble's throw from the beach.

We are a family house with a friendly and chilled cat. We welcome people of all religions, cultures & sexualities.

• 15 minutes walk from the train station.
• 5 minutes from Hastings Castle and Caves on the West Hill
• 10 minutes to the The East hill and spectacular cliff-top walks of the Hastings Country Park.

The house is a Medieval timber framed house with plenty of oak beams (watch your head!) and narrow winding staircases – so not really suitable for anyone with mobility problems. The building is over six hundred years old and once part of a larger medieval hall; the building is now an unusual mixture of medieval, Georgian and victorian styles.

The bedroom is a large first floor double room with a Queen sized bed with a super-comfortable memory foam mattress.

Located on the Old Town High Street you get a ring-side view of all of the carnivals and festivals that take place throughout the year.

Gæsteadgang
Guests have sole access to the Bedroom plus shared access to the bathroom and Kitchen for making drinks and snacks.

Andre ting, der er værd at bemærke
Our house is located on the High Street in the Old Town, you can unload at the house but there is no car parking directly in front of the house. Nearest car parking is metered parking 9-6pm on the High Street and adjoining streets, or at the public car park at Rock-a-Nore( £8.40/day ). Or, there are free spaces a ten minutes walk in Clive Vale – I can give directions and help on this when you arrive

Weekly parking tickets can be purchased for £25 from the Hastings Tourist Office, Muriel Matters House, 2 Breeds Place, Hastings. If you'd like me for me to arrange this for you, please let me know in advance.

As we're directly on the high street and close to all the pubs and music venues, the area can be a bit noisy on weekend evenings especially during high season and festivals! however this tends to die down after 11pm.

I don't provide breakfast, but there are plenty of cafes and places to eat right next to the house.

Allergy note: My cat, Sylvester lives at the house – he's very clean, friendly and easygoing!
