Hi there, response below as per the points you have raised, As stated in the welcome pack please notify me of any problems upon arrival. As you say we are at the mercy of the previous guest with any caravan bookings. It is a little harsh to make the observations publicly after your stay. If you had reported them straight away it would have given me chance to resolve, as you will see from previous reviews I am very responsive and quick to deal with any issue.
Cleaning - Please be advised that we use a local cleaning company during peak times between stays. They charge £25 per clean which we do not add to the price to deliver value.
Blinds - I have replaced all of the blinds twice this year already and at the end of the season, I will look to install a different type of blinds as I am afraid they are fragile.
Gas rings- This is the first time they have been reported to me, so I will ask maintenance to investigate today. There are long handle ignitors in the draw to ignite the oven and rings.
Pans/Grill - Reported to the Cleaning company for further investigation or to check each time.
Twin rooms- Yes the beds are small as they for children's bedrooms really its a caravan and designed for children's bedrooms, although I have slept in them before and I am 6ft 2". The Cleaning company has reported to me that the single beds have been pushed together by you as and one of the legs has broken the vent which I will now have to fix, this was not reported to me by you I am afraid.
Toilet Roll- Every season I put in 12 rolls in the caravan and replace when I visit the site. Really difficult to monitor this but understand your frustration. All I can do on this is ask the cleaners to put one on everytime at my cost. The onsite store shuts at 6pm but there is a tesco express and CoOp about a mile away that is open until 10pm every day.
Yes, it is basic caravan atm designed to keep the costs down for families who really just use it as a base whilst they visit Norfolk. The kitchen was refurbished this season and I plan to update and modernise several things for next season. Hope this gives you and customers an honest view from myself.
