Hi Conor, we really appreciate your feedback. Please don't feel bad about 'taking up space', cause you did not, and we were happy sharing a space with you.
It is our first winter since hosting Airbnb, hence we didn't know about the moisture problem as it has never happened before. I suppose this is about the misty glass window next to your bed. So thank you for pointing that out. We will address this issue immediately.
We felt like we had a very good communication during your stay, so we are truly sorry that you didn't feel like telling us your discomfort about the bed and moisture problem. Cause we would definitely have done something to help you be more comfortable.
Please don't feel sorry about giving your honest opinion Conor :)
The wonder of AirBNB is it's focus on building relationships. In a nutshell, hosts open up their door to strangers and vice versa, guests are willing to stay at a stranger's place. A lot of trust is involved. And in this community, that trust rely heavily on reviews.
However I would also like to point out that we clearly state on the listing description that the bed is a sofa bed. Whilst it is a good quality sofa bed, I understand it will not feel the same as a full bed. We are trying our best to keep our guest most comfortable at the price we incur, and will continue to improve.
We still, without a doubt, would welcome you back anytime.
Also I just want to take the opportunity, to any AirBNB guest who are reading this,
please please don't hesitate to communicate with your host about any issues you find. I highly encourage that you do not keep it to yourself till the end of your stay; bring up problems as they arise so your host can fix them immediately. And read the listing carefully before you book. It ultimately benefits you more as a guest to get the most value of the money you paid.
