Beautiful, completely restored 3 bedroom 2.5 bath in Downtown Milton, originally built in 1820 and fully restored in 2007.
Several restaurants are with in a 5 minute walk and Dogfish Head is less than 1 mile away. Lewes Beach and Cape Henlopen are 15 to 20 minutes. I also have access to the pool and gym in Cannery Village where Dogfish Head is located.

Welcome to Suds and Sands, thank you for choosing to stay here and we hope you enjoy your visit. The house is over 200 years old and has undergone many renovations over the years, enjoy the photos of the original house at the front entrance and in photo album on antique hutch. This house is a new purchase and we are currently trying to update and redecorate the house when we can, hopefully if you stay here again you can enjoy the improvements. Just a few considerations to be aware of while you are guests at Suds and Sand and a few things regarding specifics of this old house.
*Check in time is 4:00 pm and check out time is 10:00 am, these times may possibly be flexible depending on cleaning of house, if guests bring own linens this may provide for an earlier check in time. Key Code to get in side door is 19958
1.) Please call John Carp(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) immediately if anything breaks or any other concerns so he can work on fixing issues asap. An alternative contact is Tracey Denes @ (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN).) No smoking in house please, thank you.
3.) We have elderly neighbors so please be courteous and respectful by keeping the noise levels down after dark. Broad St is a very quiet and peaceful place, the town Mayor lives four doors down and will notify us of any excessive disturbances to the street or neighbors. If there are multiple complaints of inconsiderate behavior or excessive noise problems that are not rectified, you will be asked to leave and will not receive a refund.
4.) Pets are welcomed as long as they are house trained and have been treated prophylactically for fleas.
5.) Front left burner on stove doesn’t always light, the rest are fine. There is a Scripto lighter in drawer if you want to light it manually, please be careful. Otherwise I would just use other burners. Your welcome to anything in kitchen, we only ask that if you use any meats in freezer, that you replace them before your departure.
6.) Use door on side of house if possible, front door sticks and is very old.
7.) There are a few beach cruiser bikes in shed, your welcome to use them, key is labeled and hanging on fish key holder in kitchen. Please don’t use Johns road bike. Please lock shed when you are finished.
8.) Please wash dirty towels and washcloths before you leave, it cuts down on time it takes to clean house for next guest. You don’t have to fold them and put away, as long as they are in dryer before leaving that is fine.
9.) Parking in backyard behind shed is fine, as well as on the street in front of house. You can access the back yard from Tilney Rd and the house would be second yard on right. (You will see a brown shed with a red roof)
10.) Trash day is Tuesday, if you are here on a Tuesday, we ask that you just pull blue trashcan to sidewalk because they only come once a week. The same goes on Thursday which is recycling day, the trash cans out front are labeled accordingly.
11.) Pool key/pass can be found hanging in kitchen on fishhook keyholder. Pool /recreation center is located at Canary Village approx. one mile away across from Dogfish Head Brewery.
