Enjoy historic Cumberland, Maryland in this classic restored home. This home is located close to downtown, near the C&O Canal, Baltimore Street promenade, and several shops and restaurants. The town is also a great base to explore Western Maryland and West Virginia panhandle attractions such as Rocky Gap, Frostburg State University, Deep Creek Lake/WISP ski resort, and Seneca Rocks. Plenty of space to lock up bikes, and a welcoming neighborhood and community abound here in Westside.

This is my second home, but I usually have a house caretaker on-site for attending to AirBnB guests as well as continual cleaning, gardening, etc. This person is tasked specifically for being a resource for guests.

Please note that this home is recently renovated, as such there is not currently living room furniture. The kitchen however is fully equipped and there is space to cook, and a refrigerator to store food; as well, there is a coffee/tea station in the pantry. Laundry facilities are also available onsite.
The room has a closet and two night-stands for clothing storage. We are in the process of installing a stand-alone wardrobe but it is not ready yet.
-No smoking within the property lines, including e-cigarettes or vaping.
-Not suitable for pets

-Check in is anytime after 3PM
-Quiet time after 10pm
-Shoes off at the door, shoe cabinets are provided
-No loud music at any time of the day
-Common sense rules regarding behavior, no abusive behavior tolerated
-Drug use is grounds for eviction without refund.

Hi. I'm a fun professional guy from Washington, DC and I am a total travel aficionado. there's always a new place I want to go explore. I'm honest, respectful, clean and tidy.
I am on both sides of the AirBNB equation: I am a traveler as well as a host. If I'm around I'm more than happy to interact and help my renters get settled and familiarized with the area. On the other hand, I don't get up in their grill too much and I let people have their space.
A note for potential renters: I require a face picture and phone number before approving any inquiry. A couple of good reviews don't hurt either. Oh, and I do not bargain the price or "haggle" the price listed is the price. Thanks!
