Set amidst verdant greenery, Vrindavan is designed in the Indo Saracenic style of architecture, employing Sandstone walls, pillars, beams and lintels, high arches and domes with pinnacles reminiscent of the Palaces of Rajasthan. Inside, a large cupola funnels soft light through the day onto an elaborately sculpted fountain in the middle of an atrium, with corridors and rooms arrayed alongside.

Conjecture has it that it was about 5000 years ago that a science dedicated to life and longevity was born in India - Ayurveda. Ayurveda, a science that seeks harmony of body mind and soul – a healthcare system that combines curative philosophy and non- invasive medicine has evolved over time to become, in many ways, an adjunct of mainstream medicine that depends on the diagnosis of an individual’s humours (any of various fluids in the body) - vata, pitta and kapha. Today, the results obtained by Ayurveda exemplify holistic well-being - physical, mental and spiritual.
Practitioners of Ayurveda in Kerala today are a continuum of an ancient tradition. Until the advent of allopathic medicine, Ayurveda Vaidyans or physicians were the only solace for ailing patients seeking cures. Eight families of traditional Vaidyans and their descendants have served their patients for hundreds of years. Unlike other regions in the subcontinent, Ayurveda does not enjoy the status of an alternative system of medicine but functions in the mainstream in Kerala. It stands to reason therefore that Ayurveda’s contemporary precepts and procedures have gestated and matured in the tropical environs of Kerala. Equable climate, fecund forests and the cool air of a monsoon are most conducive for Ayurveda's curative and restorative properties. The prevalence of moist air enables potions to permeate the body. Medicinal herbs and plants that are the ingredients of Ayurvedic medicine thrive in the nutrient rich soil of Kerala.
Medhya - the intellect enhancement package
"The brain is not made of plastic. Neuroplasticity, or brain plasticity, refers to the brain's ability to CHANGE throughout life. The human brain has the amazing ability to reorganize itself by forming new connections between brain cells (neurons)."
It was believed that the brain loses its capacity to change once it ages. Ayurveda has prescribed medicines that help in the restructuring of brain. The modern time researches reach that point reached by Ayurveda centuries ago by quoting the term Plasticity. It is the capacity of the brain to change with learning. Changes occur mostly at the level of the connections between neurons. New connections can form and the internal structure of the existing synapses can change.
Our Medha package is based on the treatments mentioned for intellectual enhancement. This treatment is suitable for students, professionals and all those who want a rejuvenation of intellect. Yoga inclusive of autosuggestion meditation will be a part of the 14 days treatment.
