Amazing panoramic views from this cottage at the edge of Flanders Pond with 27 acres and 350 feet on the water. This one bedroom cottage is everything you need to enjoy Maine summers.
Listen to the loons in the morning while looking out over the pond to Schoodic Mountain, take the kayaks out to look for bald eagles or fish, and then after a long day of adventure, have a campfire up on the ledge at night.
Screened porch and high ceilings make this feel even bigger than it is.
Your private dock is to the north (left of cottage as you're looking at water). We also enter/exit the water from the large rocks by the firepit. The other dock, ro the right, is for the adjacent property -- please be respectful. You may get the canoe and kayaks from this area, however.
NO SMOKING and please be respectful of the neighbors. There is another property about 200 yards away that has abutting water frontage. We ask that you be considerate with noise.

We love our Downeast lake house, which has been in the family for 50+ years (we live full time in Southern Maine). We are a family of four who enjoys the outdoors, travel, gardening, jogging, hiking, scrabble, lobster, & music.
