I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Amy's. Everything was exactly as advertised and she could not have been a more pleasant host. I asked if I could check-in early so that I could make it to an event in Ann Arbor and she more than accommodating. The room is clean, with a nice view of the back yard. It is nice location and comfortable place to land if you are in the area.

Staying with Amy was great! She was thoughtful and a pleasure to get-to-know. The futon in her sunroom is set with a lovely view of her spacious backyard and I enjoyed the interaction with her cats. Access through the back door allowed for a more direct route into the room without walking through the front of her house - which made it private. The kitchen was easy to navigate and she had space for my food needs in the fridge and freezer. The location in Ypsilanti was very convenient as it was less than 15 minutes drive to work on Carpenter Rd in Ann Arbor.

I would definitely recommend the stay! The house was within walking distance to Downtown, Depot Town, Frog Island Park, and a short drive to Ford Lake. The bedroom had wonderful natural light, and the bathroom sink and shower were nice and clean. Amy was a great host, and was very fun to talk to.

I am surprised to hear your response about the bed sheets as the bed sheets were laundered before your stay. Can you tell me more about what you experienced?

Over-all a nice stay for the value. She allowed my purpose of visit in a flexible manner, and I appreciate her for that, and grateful!

Amy was a wonderful host. I enjoyed a french press coffee and nice conversation with her in the morning before checking out.

I am a historian and vegetarian cook who considers herself a world citizen. I enjoy living near international borders and talking with people from other countries. I have lived in England and throughout the United States and family members currently live abroad. An Angelina Jolie of the cat world, my three social cats have come to me from some places I have lived. A.J., the ambassador cat, will likely welcome visitors to the house.

This is a casual home with art made by friends and a well equipped kitchen. My house, a 1920s Arts and Crafts duplex, has a massive back yard with a fire pit. The drive way has space for your car. The house is within walking distance of Ypsilanti's downtown, area parks alongside rivers, and Depot Town with terrific food, local beer, and fine coffee.
