Welcome to this Grade II listed cottage, dating back to the 1600's, this former croft sits within walking distance of the beautiful market town of Pickering (Yorkshire Moors). With a cosy feel, this cottage is a hidden gem, set back from the road it offers peace and tranquillity whilst being in the heart of a small town.
This cottage offers a central location for visiting the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (steam train to Whitby), Nearby towns and Cities; Scarborough, Helmsley, Whitby and York.
I converted this old croft in 2009 keeping many original features giving it a real sense of history and character. With exposed stone and beams it's history can be seen however a modern wood-burner, kitchen and bathroom provides comfort too.

Guests will be able to access the whole property, with a private entrance away from the road leading to an additional stable for storage and outside garden area at the rear.
Kontakt med gæster
Although I will be renting out my home, I am always available by email or phone. It is probable that I will be staying in the nearby city of York, so any problems can usually be attended to straight away. My family and cleaner also live in Pickering if you should need any immediate assistance.
Andre ting, der er værd at bemærke
Pickering is a very popular tourist destination for walkers, steam train enthusiasts, bikers, and holiday-makers, as well as this many one off festivals and attractions occur throughout the year and particularly in the summer, therefore I would advise that you check out what's on before travelling and leave plenty of time for potential delays for traffic heading to and from the coast.
As stated above, no smoking in the cottage, although I allow dogs and other pets, I don't permit cats due to allergies.
Please keep the noise down after 11pm.
Please make yourself at home, and treat the cottage as if it was your own.
Most of all have a lovely relaxing stay.
