Sweet little cottage on stilts with a front-row view to The Sound. Every inch of the interior's 770- sq ft space was refaced in 2014 and furnished in cheery, bright furnishings. Super cozy, with easy access to restaurants and shopping. Note: entrance and living space on "2nd floor", with stairs to access (entire house is on 13-foot piles). AC is window units.

Great views from front and back of the house, especially because the house is raised 13 feet on stilts; close neighbor on the southeast corner, but not adjoining other properties directly.
Since the private beach is part of the HOA, you may be asked to verify which address you are staying at on busier days at the beach- feel free to share the house number and that you are guests of Jennifer and Ash.
The air conditioners are window units and generally unnecessary except for days above 90 F when there isn't a good breeze off the Long Island Sound. Vast majority of the time, opening any of the 20+ windows and/or the screened front door gives you a perfect ocean breeze. You can hear the waves on the shore that way too :) At night, temps drop and there is a space heater if needed - however simply closing windows will usually make it comfortable during the summer without any heating.
This little slice of heaven is our home where we also relax with family and friends. We take a lot of care in making the place sparkle and comfortable for guests before they arrive, and just ask that guests treat the space with equal respect. Additionally, please be sure to abide by the posted Beach Association rules at the entrance of the Beach.
Nature lover lucky enough to live in the beautiful state of Connecticut! Whether kayaking around the Menunketesuck River, Long Island Sound, and Stewart B. Mckinney Wildlife Refuge, OR simply beach bumming, I love to be outside. My favorite thing about the area is the gorgeous wildlife, including the seasonal ospreys who nest behind our cottage from April to October.
