Our characterful, thatched cottage in the Devon countryside is located within 8 miles of the city of Exeter and is only a few miles from the popular coastal towns of Dawlish and Teignmouth. The cottage sleeps 4, with two double bedrooms. Upstairs, you'll find a 'Jack and Jill' style bathroom accessible from both bedrooms. The kitchen has all modern amenities and a second bathroom is accessed from the kitchen. Willow Cottage is extremely homely, and off-road parking is available for 3 cars.
Willow Cottage is an 1860, Grade II listed thatched property in the Devon countryside.
On entry to Willow Cottage, you'll find a handy porch area for storage of coats and jackets.
Through the heavy, oak door there is a cosy living room with TV, a DVD player and two double sofas, one of which is a sofa bed. The property also has a good internet connection with Wifi. Although the woodburner is an important feature of the living room, it is currently unavailable for use by guests. There is gas central heating throughout the property which is extremely efficient at quickly heating the property.
The kitchen is equipped with fridge/freezer, electric hob and oven, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. There is also access to the back of the house and driveway from the French door in the kitchen.
Off the kitchen is the downstairs bathroom with w/c, a large bath and electric shower.
The stairs are located by the door between the living room and the kitchen, and have a handy door so they can be accessed or shut off from downstairs as and when is necessary.
At the top of the landing you'll find two double bedrooms which have a 'Jack and Jill' style bathroom between them. This is accessed from both bedrooms and has w/c and a large shower.
Bed linen and towels are provided, as well as a hairdryer.
There is a lawn at the front of the house and a driveway that can fit up to three cars. Extra parking is also available on the lane outside the house, or at the front of the house by the wall. An outdoor table and chairs are available for use too.

Andre ting, der er værd at bemærke
We have two cats who live in the summer house in the back garden. They are very friendly and we will pop in every couple of days to top up their food.
Fires are not allowed - although there is a wood burner in the cottage, this is unavailable. We ask that guests do not use the wood burner under any circumstance.
BBQ's are not allowed - there is no BBQ at the property and we ask that guests do not buy their own disposable ones to limit the risk of any sparks reaching the thatch.
