Great Valley Mountain Farm home is located in a valley in Laguna. It is the perfect place for those who are looking to get away from the busy city life, or a nearby retreat and nature getaway. The farm is about 2 hours from Metro Manila and is accessible by car and public transportation. It is very near the drop-off point to Buruwisan Falls, a short hike to "Puting Bato" river, 45 minutes by car from the beaches in Real Quezon, and 30 minutes from lake Caliraya and towns such as Paete and Pakil.

Boligen
Great Valley Farm house is a place that offers a truly relaxing and peaceful escape, ideal for those who want to meditate, soul search, or simply de-stress. The house is at the foot of a valley and is surrounded by mountains on one side and rice fields on the other.

For the more adventurous souls, there are a ton of places that you can go to near or around the area. It is very near the well-known Mt. Romelo and Buruwisan Falls. It is a 2-hour hike which is perfect for beginners and more experienced people alike. The registration fee is about 50/person and the tour guide fee costs 600/group of 6 max. We would be more than happy to assist you and help you make the necessary arrangements if you would like to hike. Apart from Buruwisan Falls, there is also a river you can hike to locally known as "Puting Bato" where you can see large rocks and boulders and swim. The towns of Paete (woodcarving capital of the Philippines), Pakil, etc. are about 30 mins away. The Pililia windmill farm is about 40 mins away. Lake Caliraya and Lumot Lake are 45 mins away. And the beaches in Tignoan, Real Quezon are also about 45 mins away, here you can find surfing spots ideal for beginners, one of the surf camps also offer lessons.

The house was built by my mom and dad in 1994. It is about a 5-10 minute walk (yes, walk) from the main highway and also the jump off point to Buruwisan Falls. Our main crop is rice and have animals around such as chickens and goats.

Since my father passed, the house has been difficult to maintain due to the lack of funds and resources so we decided to open our home to others so that we may preserve the place. The earnings from the rental of the house will be used for its maintenance and repair. Since it is a relatively old house, it is no longer in pristine condition and there are small things in the house that may no longer be usable or working (such as the closet in the guest room). Despite this, the house and its location is a truly beautiful place and definitely worth experiencing.

Andre ting, der er værd at bemærke
1.) To get to the property, you would need to enter Buruwisan Jump-off point. From there, you need to walk approximately 300 meters to get to the main property. Please let us know if you would need assistance for PwC and elderly.

2.) We kindly ask our guests to be careful with any glassware, breakables, and all items within the in the property. We may request for a small deposit, which we will handover after checking out.

3.) Please note that some showers does not have hot water.

5.) We provide drinking water for free.

6.) We will provide bed sheets, pillows, and blankets.

7.) Please do not expect that everything will be in perfect working condition. The house has all the basic amenities you might need but please do not expect your stay to be luxurious since you are staying in the mountains, personally I think this adds to the appeal and feel of the place.

8.) We highly encourage that we provide you meals during your stay. Our fruits, vegetables, and meat are all from the Farm! You have the option to bring your own food and use our kitchen to cook. We will only charge you a fee of 1k Php per day of use the kitchen, which is applicable only to groups less than 5. For more than 5, please message us. Our kitchen staff will be there to assist you.

9.) It would be advisable to bring insect repellent.
