The property is a few minutes walk from the centre of town, set in private wooded grounds with a sense of seclusion. It has the character of its period history and the convenience and space of modern living. The apartment has a private entrance with lovely stone floors and underfloor heating throughout, log burning stove and mullion windows. There is an open living space with a sofa bed, 2 bedrooms and parking for one car with plenty more on the road at the bottom of the drive
The property has a private entrance off a quiet courtyard. There is a generous entrance hall in which coats, boots and prams can be stored.
There are 2 steps to the inner door to the entrance landing, down 2 steps leads to the spacious open plan kitchen dining area and the lounge which has a large stone mullioned window overlooking beautiful landscaped gardens.
The lounge has a double sofa bed, sofa and occasional tables, 32 inch LCD TV with Freeview. The apartment has Wi-Fi and good mobile phone reception. There is a stone fireplace with a great log burning stove.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, gas hob and electric oven. There is also a washing machine.
The bedrooms lead off from the landing area, and have a wardrobe and drawer space. All beds (and sofa bed) have duck feather and down duvets and pillows and Egyptian cotton sheets with beds made for you on arrival.
There is a tiled shower room with a selection of toiletries and towels are provided.
The bunk bed is suitable for use by children aged 4 years and over. Recommended minimum age 6 years for the top bunk.
A travel cot is available on request.

Guests have sole use of the stone courtyard by your own front door - its a great spot to sit and have breakfast in the Yorkshire sunshine.

We live next door and when we are around we are on hand if you need us. If we are away from the house we will be as prompt as possible to reply to any queries.
We will leave out information leaflets and local maps and walks and there is a notice board on the landing with the current topical events (e.g. various arts and comedy festivals in Hebden Bridge).
If you let us know your interests we will try to leave out specific info e.g. about cycle routes, child friendly events etc.
The Hebden Bridge tourist information shop is just as you enter town with a wealth of information. There is also the Hebden bridge website with news and forthcoming attractions.

The kitchen is stocked with essentials ( the things we like to find when we go away)
There is bottle, paper and plastics recycling in this area. The bins are emptied on Wednesday.
