Thank you for choosing to stay at my house. (It’s not an apartment, it’s a 2 bedroom bungalow) :-). I feel as though your review was more critical of my “neighborhood”, than of your actual pleasant stay within my home.
I do an excellent job of letting people know that my home is located in a predominantly black area of town. I even ask ALL guests prior to their booking at my home, if they are comfy staying in a historically black neighborhood.
It continues to amaze me, that I am still... (after 1 year of hosting, with ZERO (0) incidents as a result of living in this neighborhood) getting bad reviews, and poor ratings attributed to living in “The Hood”.
Nothing has EVER happened to anyone who has booked a stay at my home. Guests come and go all times of the night.. some international guests even walk from downtown at 3am all the way to my home, without any problems whatsoever.
It would be greatly appreciated, if guests could rate me based on the awesome accommodations that I provide “within” my home, and not the neighborhood for which I have chosen to live.
Thank you, to all past and future guests. :-).
