"The cabin is idyllic in its paradise setting," said one guest. With king-sized bed, TV and sofa, and five minutes from the beach, you’ll adore this cosy cabin. In the main house, a few steps away, you can use the downstairs toilet with washbasin, and upstairs bathroom with shower and bath.
It’s perfect for an autumn/winter break, walks on the long beach and country paths, clean air and hearty healthy meals at local restaurants. You’ll come away from your stay here with batteries recharged!
We have created a lovely home close to the sea, including a cosy, warm garden cabin which was initially to accommodate friends and family. Now we realise how suitable the cabin is for those wanting to stay in this fantastic location.
It has a comfortable king-sized bed and a cosy sitting area with a sofa and TV. A wardrobe with a large drawer is ideal for your clothes. Clean bedding and towels are supplied. There’s tea and coffee making facilities in the cabin and a microwave, toaster and mini-fridge available close by.
Off-road parking means your car is only a few yards from the cabin.
We look forward to meeting our guests, whatever their background or age, and helping them get as much enjoyment from staying here as possible, with our first-hand knowledge of visitor attractions, and those places less popular but just as special.
As hosts, we will help you feel welcome and this includes providing breakfast, ranging from a full English fried special to a choice of cereals and yogurts.

The cabin is only a few steps from the main house where you can access the toilet and washbasin on the ground floor, and upstairs is the main bathroom with a walk-in shower. The way into the house is through the summer room which is where your breakfast will be served, or you can help yourselves to a continental-style breakfast. The garden has a number of seating areas which you are very welcome to relax in.

We will be very happy to give advice on how best to enjoy this lovely, unspoilt part of the country as well as providing you with lots of leaflets describing the many nearby visitor attractions, We enjoy a chat about anything and everything, but we also respect that you want time and space for yourselves.
- We live in a quiet village so between 10pm and 7am we ask that you are quiet and respect the neighbourhood.
I live on the lovely North Norfolk coast with my partner Amanda. We share a love of the big skies here, walks by the sea on the empty clean beaches, gardening, good food and the company of our friends and family.
I like music, particularly jazz, funk, soul, dance and baroque classical composers...and will often discuss politics, history and our loved ones with Amanda while listening to music.
I enjoy going back to London where I lived for almost 40 years to see my sons and their families, old friends, good restaurants and 'a bit of culture' before coming back to North Norfolk - my mother's family have been here for several generations and my father's from an old Norfolk family.
People are far more important to me than things, and my friends are very diverse. I'm hugely grateful that Amanda shares my values, and my enjoyment of good food. She's improved my culinary skills considerably but they are still far short of hers, which are unfailingly excellent.
Other of my likes, in no particular order, to give you some idea of the sort of person I am: craft beers; south west France; eccentric people; Senegal; Norwich City Football Club; food from farms not factories; John Humphrys; playing squash (not very well) at least twice a week; Lidl's gadgets and food events; driving Amanda (who looks so cool) in our Maxda MX5 with the roof down along winding country roads; hearing young people's hopes for their future; and swimming in the sea at Overstrand .
I haven't had a life motto, but this quickly comes to mind: Making people happy makes me happy.
