This room is only available to students who can verify their credentials. It is a quite house reserved for students who are studying for medical exams. There is no TV in the house. Medical students and medical graduates can make connections, travel to preceptors together, and study together, while living in our home stay. It is a unique place to connect with other people with similar goals and requirements. This home is in a safe neighborhood and is within walking distance to pubs, restaurants, and night clubs. You will feel comfortable here. Each private room has a keyed entry. All guests are given a set of keys for their room and the house, which must be returned at check out.

Guests have access to all common rooms: the kitchen, living room, laundry room, and bathroom. Many of our doctors enjoy walking to the nearby shopping center to study at local coffee shop or visit Target and Aldi grocery stores nearby. This location is close to the heart of the Beverly shopping district with local restaurants, pubs, and night clubs.

We live a short drive away and will take the time to help you get acclimated. We can assist you with getting a Ventra Card for traveling on public transportation. We also help our guests figure out how to get to and from their preceptor's location, and we can provided an additional driving service if needed. Just inquire.

Caryn Talty lives next door to the homestay with her husband, three sons, and daughter. She has a Master of Arts degree in English from Northern Illinois University where she graduated in 2002. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Northern Illinois University and has had 9 years experience teaching a variety of students from elementary-aged kids through college freshmen. She is currently Digital Media Marketing Manager for a local physician's office. She is also a freelance writer and editor.
