Candy is an excellent host. She gives you as much attention or space as you need. Candy also knows the great places to hang out in Wenatchee so you'll have to ask her what are the best places to go to.
My friend and I stayed with Candy because we were in Wenatchee to ski at Mission Ridge. Candy was a great hostess. When we got back from dinner (she gave us a very good recommendation to Visconti's) she offered us tea or a glass of wine. How nice. Just like home. The accomodations were very nice. The bed was so comfy. The bath, sparkling clean. We had a great time. We will certainly contact Cindy for another stay when we have the opportunity to ski Mission Ridge again.
Candy is a wonderful host. She went out of her way to make it nice for us and used her amazing cooking skills to provide us with "muffins from heaven" and healthy fruit for our breakfast. Her place is clean, quiet and convenient to easy downtown access. We would highly recommend her beautiful home.
Just as advertised and reviewed, Candy was an amazing host! We stayed at her place for one night to go to a concert at The Gorge Ampitheatre (about 45min drive) and had a very relaxing visit, despite the crazy weather with heavy wind and rain.
Candy made us feel right at home with her cozing bedroom and spacious (not to mention squeaky clean) bathroom. Her amazing fruit and muffin breakfast was exactly what we needed to get us going for our long drive home. Thanks again for the lovely chat in the morning and hosting us Candy!
Recommendation: La Fuentes is a must-try Mexican restaurant! ...approximately 5min drive from the house.
Candy was a really nice hostess! We just stayed one night in Wenatchee, but it was the perfect stop in between a long road trip. Stay there if you have the opportunity!
We had a wonderful stay at Candy's house which is a pleasant walk to downtown Wenatchee. She was so helpful, going above and beyond simply renting a room and preparing breakfast. She has been in the area most (or all) of her life so if you need any information, well, just ask. We were welcomed into her home and we could not have asked for a nicer hostess :-) I highly recommend her accommodations.
The reservation was canceled 9 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Candy was a wonderful hostess! From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us into her home. Everything was impeccable; bed was very comfortable, bathroom was clean & decorated in a cute Beach theme, and the safari room was perfect for our needs. She even let us put some food into her fridge. She also made breakfast: homemade blueberry muffins, wonderful cut-up fruit plate, & freshly-squeezed orange juice! She was very friendly, warm & inviting. We will definitely stay there again in the future! A great deal, we highly recommend Candy & her safari room!
Candace is a wonderful person and a wonderful host. I highly recommend staying with Candy if you are going to be in Wenatchee.
Staying with Candy was like staying with my sister.
Candy is one of the most sweetest persons we have met. She is an amazing host and we had a great time staying at her place. Her place was very well maintained, easy to find. Our room was cozy, true to the 'safari' theme, and spotlessly clean!!
The best parts of staying with Candy is the wonderful stories she shared with us and most importantly the breakfast. Loads of fresh fruits on both days we stayed. She prepared fresh squeezed orange juice for us, better than any orange juice we ever had. She baked blue berry muffins one day and the next day we had the most amazing 'Swedish' pancakes with lemon syrup! We have no words to describe how good those tasted. We had to get the recipes from her for the pancake and syrup.
Thanks for being such a wonderful host. We will definitely stay with you the next time we head over to Wenatchee!
