This answer is 2 hours before you leave the cottage. This shows that you were very satisfied and the comment you wrote is not true but for other reason.
Slim, you wanted to cheat the contract in Airbnb by bringing 3 people instead of 2 and you were upset when I requested the difference. This explains your negative comments.
You mentioned that my neighbors are next door, this is a lie, the closest neighbour is 200 feet away from the cottage and the cottage is on a huge 60,000 square feet land. Our private land is bordered with beautiful fences, trees and evergreen all around except in front of the lake, a beautiful border of 300 feet wide; and as you should know, in Canada Day it’s normal that a neighbor celebrate with fireworks, nothing wrong with that.
You accused the host of «profitability», it’s clearly the opposite, I wouldn’t accept you any more at my place for several reasons: the reservation you made in the contract was a lie you planed even for 4 people instead of your contract for 2; also accusing me for the bad weather, which is a stupid reason. Also the day of your arrival I had to wait more than 3 hrs after your appointment, when you arrived you didn’t even apologise for all that delay. Before your arrival you asked me on the phone the code to open the door by yourself and asked me not waiting for you, it is clear that you didn’t want me to know how many people with you. I requested through Airbnb on the same night that you pay 90 $ to correct this situation (as listed in my Airbnb page), you never did until I called you and than you showed the bad comments about the place.
Damages caused by the guest and his crew: Broken door handle of the frontal washing machine, you never mentioned it to me on phone or text it until I noticed after you left, when called you regarding that you admitted, the problem here is not the fact that you broke something but you tried to hide and ignore the subject. Also the washing machine was smelling awful when I arrived home even with the presence of necessary soap supplied by mne for free. I noticed also a towel from bathroom was used in kitchen!!! The place in general after receiving it was dirty in different places specially the kitchen, handles of drawers in kitchen dirty and sticky, traces of drops of dirty spots on main bedroom floor, traces of dirty hands on windows and patio doors while everything was delivered to you spick-and-span. I offered you a whole big bag of charcoal for the BBQ for free, you dropped charcoal on the ground also didn’t empty the BBQ after use from the ashes. You also complained that the rental is expensive and it is not in a retreated area; my site never said that it was built in a retreated area and regarding fees, you know well that you pay for that place less than the rental of your apart. and also I don’t ask guests to sleep on sofa as you list in your ad.
Note: The guest and his crew were all surprised of the beauty of the house once they arrived, as all previous guests, and told me it’s much better than the photos on Airbnb while he considers in his comments that the house is a good old fashion house, anyway pictures in my listing shows who is saying the truth and who is a liar and always the comments I got except Slim were 5/5. My cottage of 11 years old built with perfection, large windows, sunny, as well as a beautiful kitchen model and complete of everything, a movie theatre, a table pool, 2 showers latest models with jets and dry sauna, also the most advanced technology in the house: geothermic cooling and heating systems for a better environment.
