If you like butterflies, vintage globe lights and Sophie Calle, this place is for you. Marin has created the most unique and eclectic environment in his apartment. It is such a charming and chic little gem that you would never want to live. Everything was perfect for a true Parisienne experience. Thank you
We love Paris but Marin's apartment made our experience of Paris even more enriching. It's a beautiful and cosy Parisian apartment which gave us a feel as if we had been transported on the set of Woody Allen's movie. We went to Paris for Christmas and stayed for 5 nights at this apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as few days were very cold and we could still enjoy our time lazing around in the apartment. The sofa chair in the living room was my favourite spot. As everyone has mentioned, the apartment is in very close proximity to all the amenities. The two metro stops are just walking distance away and a supermarket around the corner. Although we were not able to meet Marin but he had organised his maid to meet us at the apartment and she oriented us. She was a kind lady to make time for us to give the keys on Christmas day. We really appreciated it.
Marin also gifted us a nice bottle of French wine and a fantastic Parisian guidebook curated by him.
We would def like to come back and stay in this apartment. I would highly recommend this place.
Highly recommended!! It feels truly like you're living in the heart of Paris. Monsieur Marin's taste is exquisite and ecclectic, and everything went just as he said it would. He even left a bottle of wine which was such a delicious and classy touch. This space is definitely tiny, but it is adorably appointed and has absolutely everything you need. I'd recommend the space for solo travelers or only two people if they are very much in love. The setting was comfortable and clean. And most importantly, it was within walking distance to alllll the things. I LOVED IT!
Very clean, very quaint, very great. Easy to find, metro station across the street and yet still peaceful at night. Host was great and everything was perfect.
We fell in love with this small apartment the moment we stepped in! It really is remarkably charming! Even though quite small, it has everything we needed: stove, washing machine, clothes iron, hair dryer, etc. Nearby there are plenty of food stores, bakeries and a lot of great restaurants. Marin is also the author of a very nice compact Paris travel guide, which we found super useful! We went to a lot of the places he suggested and liked them a lot. Even though we didn't meet Marin, he answered all our questions instantly and it was a pleasure. I'm a very light sleeper, so during the hottest days of the summer with all the windows open, the tiny and normally quiet street had enough noise to wake me during the night (ear plugs fixed it :)
A funny thing, there is a bizarre sounding water boiler (or something) in the bathroom. It was like having a cat in the house - we gave it a name and talked to it when lonely :D It wasn't loud or anything, it just sometimes makes a funny sound.
Thank you, Marin, for a wonderful long stay!
The apartment is exactly as it appears in the photos - bright, airy, and comfortable. Small like all Paris apartments, but everything you need is there, without feeling cluttered. The bed is firm & comfortable, the bathroom, while small, is clean & up to date. The street is quiet, while lively enough that it doesn't feel vacant. Spent 3 weeks here, and it felt like home.
Very close to the Strasbourg-St Denis and Sentier metro stops, plenty of restaurant, bar & market options.
And Marin is a very gracious host! Came to my rescue when I locked myself out, and very quick to respond to any questions.
Would stay here again!
