My house is located just next to the National Archaeological Museum and nearby the historical neighborhood of Exarcheia.
Exarheia is a central neighborhood of Athens full of life, with many modern restaurants, old fashion taverns, cafe, bars, open air cinemas, theaters, publishing houses & bookshops, and many many computer shops.
The house is on an ideal location being nearby the junction of the two central avenues of Athens (Alexandras & Patision), 50m near the Attica's' & Thessaloniki's' Bus Terminal Station, 3 minutes away from the Metro Station Victoria, 50m from the hop on - hop off touristic bus of Athens, and also nearby a taxi station and many central bus and trolley bus stops. Next to the Central Park of Pedion Areos, Mavrommateon str. is one of the classiest streets of Athens with Middle war & early '50s houses and buildings.
My apartment is on the 6th (top) floor in a '56 building, designed by my grandfather Dionysios C. The front veranda has a beautiful view of the center of Athens with the Parthenon Temple in the back and the roof of the Archaeological Museum in front. The house has 3 bedrooms with AC (one is mine), a living room, a dining room, a kitchen and a bathroom.
The house is working also like a living gallery-museum KALADO for the artworks and paintings of the Japanese artist &performer Sai Kijima. Artworks & paintings of Sai Kijima are in the dutch museum (URL HIDDEN) Also you can see an old performance of Sai Kijima at Paris at (URL HIDDEN)
