Dear Ned, thank you for making our stay in Washington a succes. A part from some little issues upon checkin (that were solved), we enjoyed the residence. The house is spacious and offers basic comfort to spend some time in DC. It is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, within walking distance to the subway. If you enjoy a good walk like us, the Capitol is only 20 minutes away, inviting you to continue onto the Mall and the White House.

It's a wonderful place if you go to D.C. with your whole family. The house is spacious, clean, and the AC unit functions perfectly. I don't know what to add, really: everything seemed to be perfect. The kitchen is just wow if you enjoy cooking.

Great place. So thankful for quick responses to my questions. Perfect location. First blended family vacation. Could not ask for better except a colander and large pasta pan. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Don't put the trash on the back porch, there's rascal raccoons.

Fantastic place exactly as described. Very convenient to get to the sites and even a great little coffee shop within stumbling distance. Would definitely stay again.

Nur bedingt empfehlenswert, obwohl die Wohnung sehr schön und sehr groß ist und eine sehr gute Ausstattung hat. Wir hatten schon Probleme, in die Wohnung zu kommen, weil es nach der Haupteingangstür noch eine Tür gibt, die abgeschlossen ist und man uns nicht gesagt hat, wo der Schlüssel für diese Tür ist. Wenn man eine Unterkunft für 12 Gäste anbietet, sollte auch eine entsprechende Anzahl an Besteck vorhanden sein. Das war leider nicht der Fall, und wir waren nur mit 7 Personen da. Die Teller waren teilweise nicht richtig sauber, und in der Kaffeemaschine war noch ein gebrauchter Filter. Waschmaschine und Trockner sind vorhanden, allerdings war der Trockner defekt. Wir hatten ganz schöne Mühe, die Wäsche von 7 Personen zu trocknen! Die Wohnung verfügt über einige eingebaute Deckenleuchten, von denen allerdings viele kaputt waren. Das war im Flur im OG sehr ärgerlich, dort funktionierte nämlich nur eine von 4 oder 5, das war viel zu dunkel, um die Waschmaschine vernünftig zu bedienen. An einer Badezimmertür fehlte außen der Türknopf, den haben wir dann im Badezimmer gefunden und wieder angebracht. Auf der Veranda an der Rückseite war die Steckdose aus der Wand gerissen. Was dem ganzen noch die Krone aufsetzt, sind die Parkgebühren. Hinter dem Haus ist ein großer Stellplatz, der dazu gehört, aber bezahlt werden muss! Für den zweiten Wagen gab es dann einen Parkausweis für die Straße, den mussten wir auch bezahlen. Meiner Meinung nach die reinste Abzocke, denn bei den anderen Unterkünften, die wir in den USA gebucht hatten, war das Parken immer frei. Das Problem mit dem Trockner hatte ich sofort an die Agentur gemeldet, und man hat sich dafür entschuldigt mit dem Hinweis, man wolle den Eigentümer informieren. Zu den anderen Mängeln gab es leider keine Rückmeldung....

Centrally located. Home was beautifully furnished and had all the comforts of home. Our host was extremely responsive and helpful.
