Completely renovated two story apartment in the heart of Wiscasset village with bird’s eye views of the harbor. Stroll to restaurants, waterfront, antique shops, historic homes & gardens. Ideal base for touring Maine attractions. Full kitchen, five other rooms including two full baths. Central yet private.
25 MIDDLE is a newly renovated 19th century lodging. The front entrance leads to a private apartment on the second and third floors. (The 1st floor is a separate apartment with a separate entrance).
From the entry hall, go up to the second floor level. This space includes a full kitchen, dining/sitting room, and carpeted bedroom with queen size bed. The full bath adjoining the bedroom is large and comfortable, with oversized shower and modern fixtures. You are renting this whole floor and the one above.
One level up is a big loft space. A wall of windows offers panoramic views of the harbor and river. During the day the loft can be your spacious living room, with comfortable sofas, lots of books, a large TV, and music. At night, the largest sofa easily opens into a very comfortable queen size bed. This top quality sleeper has a solid platform, not springs, and really sleeps like a bed. There is also a twin bed in the “nook”, so the loft can sleep 3. This floor also has a tastefully decorated full bathroom - so the loft space is self contained.
My husband Jack and I have lived in mid-coast Maine for twenty years and, as avid travelers, appreciate the value of a comfortable place away from home. We have kept that in mind in creating 25 Middle St.. Hope you will visit!

I am a fortunate woman, married to my childhood sweetheart, mother to two talented sons, and grandmother as well! When I studied at Colby College, I had no idea that I would, at some point, be settled in mid-coast Maine, living in an 18th century farmhouse, and working as a landscape gardener. In addition to horticulture, my passions include music, reading, dogs, baking, and a lifelong hobby of knitting. Work and family has brought me to interesting places like Indonesia, Hong Kong, England and Ireland and everywhere from Oklahoma to Washington to Hawaii to Colorado. As unique as all these places are, I have learned along the way that we all have so much in common!
