Completely renovated in early 2016, this downstairs apartment contains: a large bedroom with king sized bed and built-in mirrored wardrobe; new ensuite with toilet, shower and vanity; a well equipped kitchenette with fridge, electric kettle, toaster, microwave, electric frypan, a single plate induction cooker and pod coffee machine; lounge room with large television, comfortable lounge and dining table; and your own rear deck with sea views, BBQ and outdoor seating. The louvre windows capture the regular breezes and all glassed areas have block-out blinds. There is a reverse-cycle air conditioner in the lounge room and ceiling fans in the lounge room and bedroom. We have found that our guests require somewhere to plug in their phones, tablets, etc so we have added a four socket power board to each bedside table for your convenience.

Your apartment occupies the downstairs area of the house. You will have your own driveway and off street (but not covered) parking area, and the key to your own front door. You are welcomed to share our NBN WiFi facility at no cost to you.

Your apartment is within 150 metres of the beach and is in a very quiet neighbourhood, but you need to be able to cope with the sound of the sea as it lulls you to sleep each night! While we have recently completed major renovations to all of the building, the outside landscaping is a work in progress. Korora Beach is a part of the 60+ kilometre long Solitary Islands coastal walk.
Being a popular tourist destination, Coffs Harbour offers the visitor a huge range of eateries, attractions, things to do, etc. For your convenience, the apartment contains a 'house manual' which is full of useful information relating both to the apartment and the area. Even though the apartment is self contained and well equipped so you can whip up a culinary delight if that is your desire, there are three compendiums to the House Manual which contain brochures on 'Attractions and Things to Do', 'Dining Out' and 'Take Aways' if you wish to adopt a more relaxed approach to meals.
This is strictly a no smoking property with a ‘no pets’ policy. It is only suited for up to two guests; no parties; no schoolies.
We live in the upstairs part of the house and will greet you on your arrival. The stairway joining both levels is fully enclosed and sound-proofed, and the door at the bottom of the stairs will remain locked during your stay. You may hear us moving around upstairs (we are considerate of the presence of our guests) but we will not hear each other’s television etc. It is entirely up to you regarding the level of interaction with us – while we are here to assist, you can remain as private as you wish. With a combined 40 years experience in Coffs, we can readily provide you with local information be it great coffee places, cafes, restaurants, sights, attractions, walks, drives, etc.
Hi - We (Maggie and Jim) are a recently retired couple. We have just completely renovated our house and every day marvel at our wonderful sea views while enjoying the "best climate in Australia" (according to CSIRO).
We love travelling both within Australia and overseas so we appreciate what you might be looking for - we have deliberately set up our downstairs apartment to be private, relaxing and well equipped to cater for the AirBnB traveller. For us, cleanliness is a must - we go out of our way to ensure that your apartment is not just 'motel room clean' or even '5 star hotel room clean'. Rather, we aim for perfection in this regard. (In their reviews, some of our guests have used the terms: "impeccable cleanliness"; "super clean"; "very clean"; "immaculate"; and "sparkling clean".)
We enjoy the outdoors and walk daily. We also appreciate good coffee and great food and will be happy to advise you if that is what you are after.
