Private spacious yurt with upscale amenities and fully furnished kitchenette nestled in the forest beside Rapid Lightning Creek, just 20 minutes from Sandpoint, voted 2011 "Most Beautiful Town in America," and the spectacular Lake Pend O'Reille.
Escape to Elysium Woods, which is a name derived from an ancient Greek word meaning “place of blessing”. This beautiful 21-acre forested property is truly a paradise with 150- foot cedar trees and a 25-foot “talkin’ crik” running through it. You’ll enjoy a 24-foot diameter Pacific Yurt, fully furnished with a Cal King bed with upscale linens, a wood burning stove for heat and ambiance, a kitchenette with refrigerator and everything needed to cook your own meals.
The ceiling fan and screened windows keep the yurt comfortable with the warmer summer temperatures. An additional floor fan is available on request. There are several areas in the shaded forest to sit and read or just enjoy the wild life. We also like to set chairs right in the chilly creek for extra mid day cooling.
Your private, heated Shower Shack is only steps away with hot/cold running water and a mirrored vanity complete with outlets for your grooming appliances. A sparkling clean Porta Potty is next to the shower.
More about Elysium Woods:
•Electric wall heater in Yurt
•DVD player and DVD's
•Fire Ring/Firewood available
Ideal for honeymoons, boat or fishing trips, weekend or weeklong getaways, far from the hustle and bustle, miles away from city noise. Only the birdsong and breezes blowing through the cedars and the babbling creek will greet you every morning. Sit by the fire ring in the evening, and be sure to keep an eye out for the deer, moose and other critters passing through.

The Pack River Country Store is just seven miles away for grocery items. It's much more than just a market, and has great "homemade" food prepared while you wait, to eat in or take on a picnic. Our favorite is their chicken quesadilla.
