Watermill in glorious Somerset countryside; stay in the spacious Grainstore (sleeps 3/4) or Miller's Cottage (sleeps 2). Price quoted is for the two interlinked and rented together, but they are also designed to be taken individually at less cost. The Grainstore is £110 per night and Miller's Cottage is £85. (Photos shows which is which). Airy in summer and cosy in winter.
Cutterne Mill is set within 7 acres of old apple orchard and pasture on river Alham. It still has working waterwheel, mill pond, sluice and leat. Wildlife abounds. The Grainstore and Miller's Cottage each have their own individual entrance and grassy terrace space for sitting out. The Grainstore is above the old cider house and cart shed, which provides sheltered parking. Miller's Cottage is an adjoining one up one down cottage. These have just been renovated in the last few months and everything is fresh and new. We can supply both travel cot and high chair.

We generally, though not exclusively, work from home so we are often around to give local information.
Andre ting, der er værd at bemærke
We are on our own at the end of the lane so there is absolutely no traffic
The fields are often grazed by calves in Summer. They are small and curious but must not be fed or bothered.
With river, millpond and mill leat nearby, water should be respected.
This is a quiet and gentle place, so we should like you to respect the atmosphere. No Smoking inside. Being a mill, there is naturally water nearby; please be aware of it, especially with children. We allow well-behaved dogs, but it is essential that you pick up after them, please don't let them on beds & chairs or leave them unattended. They mustn't worry any cows or sheep in the surrounding fields.
Decided not to charge a cleaning fee as an extra in the belief that Airbnb guests are a clean and tidy group who recycle and leave things pretty much as they would like to find them.
