Tipperary and the trail is approximately 43 kilometres long. We are 5 minutes to Clare Glens, 10 minutes to Newport town and Murroe Village which hosts Glenstal Abbey, 34 minutes to Limerick city, 30 minutes to the scenic village of Killaloe,46 minutes to Shannon and 2 hours to Dublin Airport. Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.

This is a self contained apartment, tastefully decorated, on the ground floor, with your own private entrance. There is a double bed, kitchen, dining and living room, and bathroom. With your own private patio with panoramic views. The apartment is newly renovated to the highest standard, with gas heating and a solid fuel stove. It was just finished in March 2022, and we are very happy with how it turned out. We have put together a guest food hamper which we hope you will enjoy.

Roscommon Community Hospital is directly opposite the property. Toys and swings are available for children to play with and a sheltered shed with a climbing wall in case of rain.
