River Cottage Near Loch Lomond

River Cottage is a detached riverside property located in the quiet village of Croftamie on the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. This charming cottage has been finished to a high standard and enjoys lovely views over rolling fields. The spacious decking area overlooks the river "Catter Burn" and is an ideal vantage point for watching the abundance of local wildlife. As an added bonus, free riverside fishing is available from within the grounds of the cottage and there is direct access onto open fields. The open plan living space has two large sofas (one being a sofa bed, making it possible to accommodate up to four adults). The kitchen area is fully fitted with table and chairs for dining. Local amenities are available in Croftamie, including a pub renowned for its delicious food and a number of small shops. Preferred lets are Saturday 3pm to Saturday 10am on a self catering basis, however if you wish to enquire about any dates/times outwith this or a short break then please contact me and I will try to accommodate you if I can. Accommodation details Ground floor Property is all at ground floor level, has electric oil filled radiators and comprises: Lounge Area: With electric stove effect fire, satellite TV/DVD, WiFi, sofa bed (there is an additional charge of £50 for bedding for the sofa bed) and patio doors leading onto decking area. Dining Area: With table and 4 chairs Kitchen Area: With electric oven and electric hob, kettle, toaster, tassimo coffee maker, microwave and fridge/freezer. Bedroom: With double bed, bedside cabinets, chest of drawers, hair dryer and view over farmland Shower Room: With shower cubicle, WC and wash basin. Facilities All power, bed linen, towels and bathrobes included. Cot and high chair available on request. Miscellaneous Small enclosed garden, large decking area with outdoor seating and BBQ (coals not supplied), with views over river. River access (youngsters take care!) and free fishing from river bank. Access to open farmland along river. Wireless broadband connection. Secure storage for bicycles and fishing equipment etc. Shared laundry facilities available on request. Off road parking for 2 cars.

Lochside Cottage

Lochside Cottage has stunning loch views, is pet-friendly, has new satellite internet in Jan 2024 and a wood-burning stove. It sleeps 8 (+2 ) with all bed linen/towels provided. It is a beautiful rural location, surrounded by forests and mountains, with various shops and attractions available within a hour's drive. Lochside Cottage is near many different lochs, woodland walks, and mountains, which all have their own character. It is very quiet and peaceful, and is an ideal waterside retreat.

Leac Na Sith, a cottage on the beach

Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the isle of Bute, the "secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.

A great deal of thought has gone into making the cottage extra comfortable for your stay. Postbox Cottage. Helensburgh

This cosy b listed cottage is situated in the heart of Helensburgh, less than a 5 minute stroll to the Helensburgh seafront and the vast array of shops and restaurants or pop in your car and within 10 minutes you can be on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. Although this is a traditional cottage it's super comfy and warm , we have replaced all windows and the door and the heating is super. We have fast Wi-Fi, full kitchen and big wall mounted tv .

Located on the waters edge of Loch Katrine in the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher etc. Bed linen and towels are provided for your stay. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate a Sunday arrival or departure.
