We are located 10 minutes from the East Gate entrance to Algonquin Provincial Park that offers interpretive trails, museums and vast lakes and rivers for day or overnight canoeing trips. Algonquin Parks has much to offer and would encourage you to visit their website. The town of Whitney is about five minutes from our home. Amenities offered; restaurants, gas stations, Pharmacy, post office, grocery store, beer/liquor store, outfitters for canoe rentals and gift store. This recently updated farmhouse built in 1932 has been recently renovated providing a cosy farmhouse Look so you are comfortable during your stay. This house is ideal for workers who come to the area. Steps away from the trail for ATV and snowmobile riders, or families is just coming to the area and don’t wanna stay in a hotel.
