The master bedroom was a 1-room schoolhouse from the 1890's to 1914, where "Miss Sallie" Young taught (after she retired from 54 years in Texas public schools). After many additions and updates, it's now a quiet part of a Church Camp property (which you're welcome to explore). Perini Ranch Restaurant is nearby, as well as several other great places to eat - not to mention Abilene is 8 miles away.

The fully renovated railcar and caboose are connected by a large back patio that boasts one of the most spectacular views in Taylor County. The railcar is the larger of the two and has a king size bed, walk in shower, full kitchen, and living area. The caboose has a queen size bed, small living area, half bath, mini fridge and coffee bar. Smart TVs and WI-FI in each. Relax and unwind at this one of a kind retreat.

Cozy home on historic Belmont Blvd. The house 1 bed/1 bath/1 daybed, full kitchen with Washer and Dryer, desk, lamp and power supply for computer with USB inputs to charge your phones and tablets, closet and are pets welcome. The neighborhood is quiet, fully furnished with comfortable & cute decor and is located close to downtown and many area attractions. Bedroom has been sound proofed and for a quiet night sleep. Have had issues with exterior noise and this has made a huge difference.

One of a kind loft! This unique apartment was built in 1920 with our Sears Craftsman home. It has been totally renovated and updated and just might be the cutest "steampunk themed tiny house with a sleeping loft" anywhere, much less Abilene. Just minutes from downtown, the SoDA District, The Mill, bars and nightlife, all three universities and Dyess AFB. Our Historic Sayles Loft is perfectly located for one night, a weekend, or more! It’s a tiny space, so two guests is the limit!

It even has a fully stocked kitchen with coffee & bottled water. There is additional space for you to plug in if needed and do a little work with the provided desk and wifi. You will have everything you need to unwind after a day of working or exploring Abilene. We'll be available via messaging to answer any questions during your visit.

Our little unique bungalow is located on Sayles Blvd. Right across the street from McMurry University, 10 mins to ACU, 9 mins to Hardin Simmons. Close to Downtown, and 10 mins to the Abilene Zoo, and Expo center. We do NOT allow pets.Parking available for NO More than 3 vehicles NO parking on the grass. Please note our parking can NOT accommodate big trailers or several large vehicles. Our home is on a busier street with VERY limited parking. No pets due to allergies.

Country Cottage by the Pool

The "Cottage" is a private one-bedroom, one-bathroom guest house with a full kitchen that overlooks the backyard pool. The house is situated on 40 acres outside the city limits of Abilene, Texas (Potosi to be exact.) When you arrive, you may see horses grazing out in the pasture, two loving Collies & the farm cat "Major." We hope that our guests enjoy the peaceful country all while being minutes away from entertainment, restaurants, airport & hospitals.

Enjoy the milky way at night and In the spring and summer enjoy our beautiful wildflowers. Lake Abilene State Park is a 5 minute drive down the road. Non-Smoking. Lola the house corgi lives on the property. Please NO PETS, of any kind. We follow AirBnb guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting.

Simple 2 bedroom duplex (pet friendly but no cats)

Simple, but beautiful and comfortable place to stay. You will be staying in one apartment of a duplex. We accept pets, but no cats due to our allergy, sorry!! Only 7 minutes away from downtown Abilene (by car), where you can find amazing cafes (Front Porch Cafe, Monk's cafe), and restaurants (Vagabond Pizza, The Local). There is also an air mattress that you can use for the 5th and 6th person. Thank you!!
