Nestled in the serene countryside of County Donegal, our cozy retreat offers a unique blend of history, nature and comfort. Inch Island is known for its stunning, peaceful nature and renowned bird watching. Our property dates back to the 1600s when it operated as a farm. Our basement library is a book lover’s dream, featuring an extensive collection of books both old and new. There are also board games and large collection of DVD´S with a TV in the bedroom and a fully equipped kitchen.

Hannahs thatched cottage (pet friendly!) is one of the last remaining original thatched cottages in Inishowen. The cottage has recently and lovingly been restored to the highest standards. Hannahs is a perfect base for those who are looking for an adventure, surrounded by some of Irelands best hill walking trails, cleanest beaches and most breath-taking scenery. We are at the end of a secluded cul-de-sac, by the edge of a wood and just 50m from the beutiful Porthaw beach; you can hear the tide lapping. We face west, accross Lough Swilly, to the hills of Donegal and spectacular sunsets. Its a 30 min walk along the Fr Hegarty coast path into Buncrana, less than 2km by road. Swimming, golf, fishing, walking, trekking and more are all available locally. The Walled City is 16km away and all of Inishowen and Donegal is at your doorstep.

Shower room downstairs in our antique shop which is opened 1-5 during the summer months. WIFI , Netflix .
