Where else can you stand on the front step of a little piece of history, with an avenue of giant Norfolk Pines to the right, the delight of all that a town has to offer at your back, and the long sandy beaches and roar of the Southern Ocean over the dunes in front of you? Beautiful setting, rolling grassy hills, sheep and cows, also bird attracting native trees, occasionally visited by wallabies and koalas. Cottage is a 5 minute walk to the Hopkins river, good for swimming in hot weather. Also a 5 minute drive to the Hopkins Falls. House is designed with sustainability in mind, thermal mass concrete floor, north facing aspect, well insulated, wood heating.
