The Wee Hoosie

The Wee Hoosie offers you comfortable and cozy accommodation on a self-catering basis. The studio has a corner kitchen equipped with a full size cooker and fridge. There is an en-suite showerroom. The sun rises to the front and sets to the back, making this a light and bright space and with the wee garden with a patio to the rear you can enjoy a tiny home from home. There is private parking which affords more privacy. The studio is located in the garden of our home, we are on hand if required.

Beautiful granny flat with sea views, terrace, well-equipped kitchen and en-suite bathroom for up to 4 people. Unfortunately not suitable for dogs and small children. A further 3 rooms located in the main house can be additionally booked on Airbnb, also to provide a second bathroom. Please let me know via Airbnb Messenger who will be arriving and when so I can prepare the rooms. The sofa bed is a “small double” (1.20 m wide) and only suitable for one person, skinny couples or 2 children.

Pier House

Pier House is beautifully located with stunning views. A huge lounge with Juliette balcony. The house is presented over 2 floors with the living room on the upper floor to maximise the exceptional vista. The house has all modern facilities and comes well equipped and presented. There are 4 bedrooms, a main bathroom, a separate wc and the master bedroom is complete with its own en-suite and shower. The property is on the edge of the beach and next to the pier, utterly perfectly located.

The Black House, Islay

The Black House is a unique property situated between Bruichladdich and Port Charlotte on the island of Islay. We use the house for High School to save commuting from Jura every day so don’t expect a pristine holiday let but rather a loved family space. There are 2 double beds and 2 bunk bedrooms (if you’re a party of single adults then 4 is the maximum number). Views are stunning and Islay’s great for whisky, wildlife or just rest and relaxation. Bluebell cabin with wood fired hot tub

Bluebell cabin is set in an spruce plantation which is a 25min walk into Port Ellen . Outside the cabin features a log fired hot tub with views over the Oa perfect for relaxing after a day of taking in the scenery or distillery tours, the gas BBQ and viewing deck will leave you feeling peaceful and content. Inside is home to a sleeping Mezzanine, kitchen area, electric heating and a modern bathroom with a log fired stove at the very heart of the cabin. Slainte! Karen & Richard

Portbahn holiday house, close to distillery

Portbahn was our family home before moving to Jura, and we hope you'll find it as welcoming as we did. Croft Acre Holiday Pod

A cosy Pod on the edge of Port Charlotte. Nestled in the countryside on our small croft, the setting provides access to beautiful landscapes, local wildlife, a 5 minute walk to local amenities including a shop, pubs, restaurants, beaches, museum and island bus route. A 20 minute walk along the Lochindaal coastal path connects the neighbouring village of Bruichladdich, where you can enjoy a local coffee stop or experience a whisky tasting and tour at Bruichladdich Distillery.

The Wee House

The Wee House is a one bedroom seafront cottage looking onto Port Ellen. Sleeping up to 4 guests with a sofa bed (full size double) in the living room. Listing price is for 2 guests sharing the bedroom. If the sofa bed is required for bookings of 2 guests please let us know as there is an extra charge (£10 per night). The cottage is within walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants and near to the distillery path taking you to Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg.

Lorgba Caravan

Enjoy a peacful stay in a beautiful location, overlooking our farm with highland cows and barley growing for the neighbouring distillery. Situated next to Lochindaal coastal path, making it a short walk into the village of Port Charlotte or a 20 minute walk to Bruichladdich Distillery. Port Charlotte has plenty places to eat including Port Charlotte Hotel & The Seafood Kitchen. There is also a small local shop where you can get all essential items and petrol.

Starchmill Holiday Pod (Bruichladdich)

The Bruichladdich Pod sleeps up to 2 people, consisting of one bedroom with double bed, a toilet/shower room and a living area with double sofa bed. It also has a kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and table with 4 chairs. The pod is accessed through large patio doors which are perfect for enjoying the panoramic view. There is a large decking area in front with a picnic bench to enjoy dining al fresco.
