Up a private right of way, set in native bush, this modernised cottage offers views of Waikawa Bay. Wake up to birdsong. Watch the tui flitting between the trees and maybe a weka crossing the lawn. Gaze at native bush and hills or watch the boats in the Bay. A wonderful place to chill out in the last of sun. Walking distance to bike tracks, the beach & marina/pub. Our Kayaks for your use, & our shoreline deck are a 2 minute walk down to the beach. A great spot to relax in the sun. Outdoor BBQ area and spa pool sets the scene for your relaxing break away. Herd of Cows?! Quiet, comfortable and fun accommodation just 15 minutes walk through the picturesque Picton Marina to cafes, bars, shops, theatres, cruises and walking tracks. Free pickup and setdown from ferry may be available. Transfer from Blenheim by arrangement. Be warned......this great priced accommodation is probably nothing like you have ever stayed in previously. My folly and a labour of love! If you don't have a sense of humour or don't like cows.....don't book in! :-)

Studio 9 is a downstairs Studio Unit which is a 2 minute walk to the Picton town centre, the beach and the ferries to Wellington. Picton boasts a wonderful array of restaurants, cafes and shops. There is free wifi, an outdoor seating area, dining area, kitchen with microwave, toaster, fridge & mini oven. Sounds Air is three kilometres away. Marlborough Airport is 30 kilometres away. There is shuttle service available by arrangement. There is car parking in front of the unit if needed.
