The Whale of a View Cottage has amazing unobstructed views of the ocean and the whales, seals and eagles that pass by the cottage. The Whale cottage is private and sits on a cliff overlooking the water. The cottage also has great outdoor spaces with an attached screened in room, attached open deck and a screened in gazebo located on a lower cliff overlooking the water with open decks. Dining alfresco is easy on the screened porch, open deck or in the screened in gazebo. Enjoy your Stay!

A quick walk to the beach or pond, you’re not too far away to run back for lunch or take an afternoon nap. Also, the house is fully heated and is suitable for the cooler months!

The Driftwood Cottage has everything you and your family need for a relaxing and peaceful vacation. Located on Deer Island, only a free 20 minute Ferry Ride from L’Etete or seasonal ferry from Campobello for a cost. Imagine drinking your coffee on the deck while watching the many ocean birds, deer, and seals. Beach comb for sea glass and driftwood on your private rocky beach, have a cozy bonfire in the fire pit, and fall asleep listening to the waves as the tides rise.
