Our home sits on the ocean with access to some of the best snorkeling and swimming on the island. Nearby is a hidden black sand beach gem called Honomalino Bay. We are 5 minutes from a County Beach Park with a Pavilion and little sandy beaches. a 1 minute walk brings you to our safe private neighborhood swimming access. Our home is your home while you are there. We have a great location which puts you just about midway to explore both sides of the Island. Our reviews simply say it all !

If you are a scuba diver, we take you out on shore dives. We provide tanks and weights. If you want to snorkel, we can give you a tour of places to snorkel. All of our services are free for our guests. Our location in southern Kona makes it convenient to visit the Volcano National Park, Green Sand Beach, Black Sand Beach and other local attractions.

The Whale House is a great home to watch the whales migrate down the Kona Coast in season! The house has 3 private bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths on two levels. The upper (primary level) includes a full service kitchen, two master bedrooms and 1 & 1/2 bathrooms. The lower living area is separate from the main living space, is handicap accessible (See Accessibility Notes) and has a private master bedroom and master bath. Experience off grid living! Originally, a coffee shack from Holualoa, a tiny house but it has a full kitchen, a full-size frig, lots of cupboards, and 5 burner cook top. The bedroom has a queen sized comfy mattress, a futon couch/bed for extra guests. Enjoy meals outdoors on a screened in lanai with fabulous ocean views. The property has many fruit and mac nut trees. It is a peaceful place to get away from it all. Renting a car is highly recommended.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. We converted a shack into a sweet, cozy 1 bedroom. With u very own porch and outside kitchen. We are completely off grid.. we use rain water for showering… but don’t worry it’s a hot shower. Our toilets are compost to use less water and work with Mother Nature. U also have ur own tiny back yard hang out area, Wi-Fi available
