The Gingerbread house is known as the Nesbitt house Built and maintained by the Well known author and city Historian Rosemary Nesbit. This grand home was totally renovated to modernize but keep all the old charm! It boasts 3 full bathrooms and 4 bedrooms! The location in center of Oswego affords walking the 2 blocks to downtown and 4 blocks to the lake and marina. There are ample Bistro, and bars in close walking distance! Our place is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood just off the interstate - 10 minutes from Syracuse University, LeMoyne College, hospitals and downtown. It is just minutes away from Starbucks, Panera's, Wegmans and numerous other restaurants and shopping facilities. It is also very close to the Erie Canal trail for walking, jogging or biking. We have chosen to go with an Adirondack theme with our decor. We live just across the street and you will enjoy total privacy when you stay.

The Reid-Tanner House exemplifies the timeless beauty of Oswego's golden age. Located in the historic Washington Square District, the double lot and buildings were owned by the Reid family, founders of Reid & Company hardware established in the late 1800s. The Reid family owned the property for fifty years before transferring to the Tanner family who also lived in the house for decades.
