A quick walk gets you to the beach at Shadow Lake, one of the area's best kept secrets. A 5 minute drive brings you to town. VAST and VASA trails are accessible from the property and the back roads are great for biking and walks.

By staying at Firefly Farm in the Northeast Kingdom, you get to experience a connection with the earth, be part of the community and ride the trails. Our guest house is small (120 sq ft), cozy, and the perfect place to set up base for exploring. Though small in size, the space includes a table that converts into a bed, a bed above the table, a kitchenette, and a bathroom with a full sized shower. Stay with us and enjoy the beauty of the Northeast Kingdom! We do not charge any cleaning fees.

The Osprey cabin at Walker Pond is a new cabin (2021) with a custom cedar hot tub! It is a rustic retreat with plenty of modern convenience and is just 120 feet from Walker Pond. Walker Pond is approximately 20 acres and is home to plenty of wildlife, small fish and birds. You are welcome to enjoy our 40 acres of forest/wetland, go canoeing in one of our canoes, or enjoy the common campfire-flower garden area. The cabin is located just 5 minutes from downtown Newport, very convenient.

Lakeview Cottage is adorable and located on one of Vermont's cleanest and most beautiful lakes, Crystal Lake! It's in the heart of the Northeast Kingdom, in the charming town of Barton. Sit around the outdoor firepit and soak in the view! You're just steps away from beaches and a dock. You'll find great swimming, fishing, boating, hiking, golfing, and mountain biking. Quaint log cabin. Access to Coronary on Kingdom Trails is right across the road when the trails are open. What to do during STICK SEASON? Gravel ride and hike, of course!!!! Sleeps 1-4. Upstairs bedroom has a king bed that can be split into two twin XL beds...whatever works best for you. Futon in downstairs living area can sleep 2. We also have two memory foam folding beds available if sleeping on a futon isn't your thing for the 3rd/ 4th guests.

The main living area and kitchen are perfect for all types of groups; couples, families and adventurers, and your pets! The views/sunsets from the property are breathtaking. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths across 2 floors.
