Relax in the natural beauty and peaceful environment of this quaint cabin overlooking the upper Caddo River, bordering the Ouachita National Forest near Norman, AR and Lake Ouachita. Close by activities include nearby Lake access and marinas around Mt. Ida, crystal digging, Forest access for hiking, biking, ATV riding and canoeing along the Caddo River at nearby Caddo Gap and Glenwood, among many other activities and amenities in the popular tourist areas including Hot Springs National Park.

Centrally located between Mena and Mount Ida AR. Easy off road parking. Places nearby: Shirley Creek Ouachita River, Camp Ozark, Big Ts Country Store, Lake Ouachita and Wagner's Crystal mine. Cool Ridge Cabin

Enjoy the peace of this cozy cabin. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, baking pans, dishes and serving utensils, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, crock pot, blender. We supply coffee etc., salt, pepper. Bath towels, wash clothes, toilet paper and soaps. The beds are made with fresh linens. The covered deck faces the woods where you can enjoy the sound of the river. Cook out on the grill and enjoy a fire in the firepit. Wash your treasures on the outside table.

We do accept 1 small dog with a fee. Cabin is located just steps away from the Ouachita River. It has an awesome view of the river and is peaceful and quiet. You won't find a nicer cabin in this area. It has a big deck where you can sit and relax. It has a gas grill, Alexa command outdoor audio, and a swing set for the kids. It also has beautiful rock walkway leading down to the river with a lounging area and a charcoal grill and prepping table. You can swim or fish in front of the cabin.

There are currently two other rental cabins on the mountain, however, it is private and peaceful with amazing mountain views. Cabin 7 is our "Home Sweet Home" cabin is a large 2 story cabin sitting on the edge of the Ouachita River. There is a queen bed in a private room downstairs and upstairs in the loft there is a queen bed and twin trundle bed. When you step outside onto the back deck you will have a beautiful view of the river and you can enjoy it from your very own hot tub. There is a grill and firepit outside so enjoy those burgers and S'mores.
