Private Guest-House in the Redwoods

Our custom built guesthouse was completed in 2016. It is situated on 5 redwood-covered acres, 10 minutes south of Los Gatos and 20 minutes from Santa Cruz. We have easy access to hiking and biking trails, world-class wine-tasting, microbreweries, shops, amazing dining, and more! There is something for everyone in our area! We are surrounded by a 35 acre tree farm, so it's very private, yet close to the silicon valley! Our property has a standby generator so we are not affected by power outages.

After 30 years of rail service and 30 years of retirement this Caboose has reinvented its self as a truly unique stay amongst the vineyards of the Livermore wine country. With 20 local wineries in close proximity you can walk, ride bikes or take the wine trolley to enjoy a day of wine tasting. There is also Lake Del Val 15 minutes away for hiking, fishing and boat rentals. Across the street is Holdner Park whose trails lead for miles and connect to Sycamore Grove. Downtown is 5 minutes away!

Upscale apartment downstairs from the main house with a separate entrance and a small patio area. There is a living area; kitchen with an electric stovetop, microwave oven, toaster oven, refrigerator, and sink; a bathroom with shower and a spacious bedroom with cable TV and Netflix. There are both a washing machine and a dryer. The apartment is equipped with its own air conditioning and heating controls. There is high-speed wireless Internet and a desk for working. Coffee and tea are provided.

Hike up to a well designed, small-but-mighty modern cabin with fast WiFi, your own hot tub and a panoramic view spanning across the bay from the Golden Gate to the San Mateo bridge. 108 stairs lead up to the Aerie, so if you don’t want to get your steps in, this is probably not the space for you! 15 min from OAK and city life, but a world away. Sunsets are glorious here. The Aerie is a special spot just for 1 or 2, so leave the posse behind. Registered guests only.

Our guest house is located close to La Honda and Woodside in the North Santa Cruz Mountains. Located in the Redwood forest and looks down onto a beautiful creek from a lovely deck. There are many open space hiking and biking trails within a short drive, and the beach. 5 miles from Alice's Resturant. San Francisco and Santa Cruz are easily accessible. The house has vaulted ceilings and a full kitchen, and laundry.
