The Treehouse: Off-grid Retreat

Built from recycled materials, a repurposed spiral staircase takes you up the multiple levels of The Treehouse to a secluded living space nestled between the trees. This self-contained treehouse is powered by renewable energy and is only a short drive to New Plymouth, local beaches and the mountain.

The house is nestled in a Significant Natural Area - meaning its natural bush (and bird) views all round. Settle in the spa and enjoy the bird life. We love sharing this space with you as we believe it's something special.

MAX OCCUPANCY 2 Adults & 2 Children under 12 The Black Yurt is situated within Oakura. The surf beach, a number of cafes/restaurants, a pharmacy and a convenience store are within walking distance. Several hiking trails can be found nearby. Accessible via a private staircase, this yurt offers you a comfortable king-size bed, lounge area and kitchenette. The bath and shower are outdoors. A separate small building contains the toilet.
