This adobe casita is a special place – washed in sunlight, quiet and tucked into a half acre with grass, trees, flowers, rabbits and birds. Located right behind the Balloon Fiesta grounds and is just a few minutes drive, it is only 15-20 minutes from downtown Albuquerque and about 50 minutes from Santa Fe. Plenty of outdoor space in which to relax and soak up the sun. And great Wifi for remote work. The casita sits on the same lot as a larger house that is occupied by a long-term tenant.

Large windows admit beautiful light, outdoor patio has seating, dining areas and gas grill. Centrally located, this charming home features a mix of antique and contemporary furnishings. We have four fireplaces in the house; the one in the master bedrooms upstairs can be used to burn wood.

Located just off a main road, The Treehouse provides easy access to the historic Taos Plazas, Taos Pueblo (a World Heritage Site), and Taos Ski Valley.

The Casita is completely private and is heated and cooled by mini-splits in the living room and bedroom. There is secure parking for a sedan style vehicle, but it cannot accommodate larger vehicles like large trucks or SUVs.
