Gum Tree Studio - The perfect country retreat!

With amazing views and the Taste Tasman cycle trail at the end of the road this is the perfect retreat to get away from it all. We're lucky to be surrounded by farmland, countryside, mountains, sea, National Parks, fresh air and birdsong. Just a short 10 minute drive from the popular village of Mapua and 10 minutes from Motueka this artistic, modern, roomy and stylish studio is a perfect getaway. The Studio is located at the rear of our home property, down a private drive, with ample parking.

A spacious base in a convenient location with views from our ‘Sunshine Studio’. Close to everything, ideal for short or longer stays. • 4 mins to airport • 4 mins to Tahunanui Beach • 8 mins to town centre • 2 mins to supermarket Great base for Abel Tasman, Golden Bay and Nelson Lakes. We’re just around the corner from several great bike paths. Note: Development has started on front section. Work Mon–Fri, 7.30am–5pm may cause some noise. Quiet outside these hours. We have a completely separate unit below for our guests with its own entrance . Our flexible bedding arrangements means we can accommodate a number of combinations. The super king in the bedroom can be used or two single beds if preferred. The fold away made up queen bed in the main area allows more space during the day. We are open to meeting the bed requirements you may wish to have 2 single beds in one room and a queen bed in the other. What a wonderful view you will have when you wake up.

Private self-contained guest suite with its own entrance in a quiet neighbourhood near Tahunanui Beach and Nelson Airport. Comfortable bedroom, tidy bathroom with shower over bath, and practical kitchenette with basic cooking facilities. Private patio, Wi-Fi and off-street parking included. Five minutes’ drive to the beach and cafés, 10 minutes to Nelson city, and the Great Taste Trail passes nearby. Suite is adjacent to our family home, so normal daytime household sounds may be heard.

No smoking anywhere the property please. The unit is ideal for short stay visitors who are happy to dine out. Air fryer, Electric fry pan, Microwave, electric jug, cutlery, plates etc. Tea, Coffee, Milk, Juice and Breakfast cereal provided. Dining table but no washing machine. Compact, Self contained, clean, quiet, comfortable and 10 mins walk to City Centre. Surrounded by trees but still has a unique uninterrupted view of the Port and City.

Private with Nelson on your doorstep.

We live in a lovely central area of Nelson and have a private separate area downstairs. This area has a queen bed, private bathroom and separate entrance. It is 10 minutes walk to supermarkets, cafes, takeaways and town . Recently renovated everything is crisp and new with a smart tv and air conditioning . There is outdoor seating and off road parking . We live upstairs and are happy to help you enjoy your time here in Nelson.
