8 Steps to a private beach. Cottage with full kitchen, new queen bed, very private, big water's edge deck, unhindered views of Broughton Strait and the passing marine traffic and wildlife. Newly installed gas fireplace in 2022 will keep extra warmth and heat through cool evenings. As mentioned below, wifi is weak on a phone , good on a tablet. But it’s a spot to not be on devices. If you need major research or downloads, come up the driveway and it gets stronger. Local cafes have WiFi too

Forest & Forage House: Finnish wood-fired sauna

Forest & Forage House sits on 11 private acres on Quadra Island, surrounded by mature forest, organic gardens and a large lawn. Beyond the gardens are a traditional Finnish wood-fired sauna, cold plunge and outdoor shower. Designed by architect Rob Wood and built by J. Toelle Construction, its timber frame was made from trees felled and milled on the property. South-facing windows overlook trees and gardens, and the living room has a wood stove. Much of the 20-year-old interior remains original.

Nanshands Separate cottage with private patio

This cottage is a separate building which is situated on the same property as the owners. Although this is a small cottage it has a fully equipped kitchenette, one bathroom, one double bed and a fold out couch, There is also a semi private patio for your use. Whales frequently seen from our beach which is a rock hounds paradise No parties. Dunroven is adult oriented ~ no children under the age of 10. This beautiful cottage is situated less than 5 minutes from town with a north facing unobstructed ocean view. Walking distance to the ocean. Permanent residents will welcome you on the property at time of check. Wifi available, in-suite washer and dryer, private parking and RV hookup. This cottage can stay up to 5 guests. The cottage is entirely on its own and not attached to any other dwellings, as seen in the pictures. The rental is of the entire dwelling.
