This is a rare opportunity to be the only guests on 220 acres of gentle hills with grasslands interspersed with trees and ponds. You may explore the woodlands and wetlands as well as the sustainable grazing of sheep. The back yard is filled with an organic vegetable garden and across the yard are honeybees. Your family may participate in any and all of it. The newly renovated apartment is the upstairs of my farmhouse. It includes a private entrance, full kitchen and deck overlooking the lake.

We are renting out a 2 Bedroom Appartment (lower level) in our house/duplex. It has a separate entry and is located in a tree rich area. A natural area begins right behind the house. The sister lakes are in a 3 min walking distance. The apartment is conviniently located in Ann Arbor - 2.2 mi to Downtown - 3.5 mi to the Big House - 2.8 mi to UofM central campus A bus stop and a great coffee place (19 Drips) are in walking distance. West Unity is right along the Ohio Turnpike between exit 13 and 25. There are many adventures awaiting locally and even more within an hour's drive.

A perfect get a way for a couple or group of friends. 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, game room(pool table, ping pong, shuffleboard, foosball, dart board, giant Jenga and ring toss) full kitchen, and laundry. 2 couches inside the house, 2 couches in the game room. Grill on the back patio. The 5 guest sleeping arrangement is 2 guests in the queen bed, 2 guests in the full bed and 1 guest on the large couch.

"Our Little House"

This is a great little house for coming to visit friends and family in the area or if you're just passing through. We do not have central air, but we do have a portable air conditioner unit in the bedroom which makes it cool and comfortable. A lot of people that stay call "Our Little House" a cottage. I think it could also be called "The Little Cottage on the Highway". We are located on a highway, but our little house sits back far enough that the highway has never been a problem, noisewise.

The cabin is attached to the main home with separate entrance and separate space. There is an area for sitting outside to enjoy the views or make a fire. Kayaks are available with a 15 minute paddle to a sandbar To get to the cabin you park up top and have to walk down 48 steps.
