Our newly built, modern cabin offers a secluded and relaxing retreat in Union, Maine. With the high ceilings, open floor plan, and many windows, guests are surrounded by natural light and forest views. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy fireplace, and an outdoor grill and fire pit. Walking trails connect the cabin to our farm next door, where you can visit with our horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, and ducks. We are just 25 minutes from the Midcoast's shops, restaurants, and beaches.

The Adams Suite on U-pick Blueberry Farm

Our one-hundred acre farm is located in the small rural village of Washington. It is located just 2/10 of a mile from the village center where the general store, village church, library, and town offices are located. Beautiful Washington Pond boat landing is only 4/10 of a mile away. Easy commute East (30 minutes) to the coast and must see towns of Rockland, Rockport and Camden or West (30 minutes) to our capitol Augusta. One hour and forty minutes to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

Room with a Brew

Welcome to our new building. "A Room With a Brew" is located above Belfast's newest craft brewery, Frosty Bottom Brewing. A small community supported brewery open 2 days/week for 3-4 hours for beer share members. Guests can request a tour of the brewery and sample some fresh beer. Owners live in downtown Belfast and are available should any issues arise during your stay. The apartment/brewery is located 3 miles from downtown on a quiet road that offers local hiking and biking.

This happy home has all you need for a perfect Maine vacation or remote work escape. Relax in the garden, hang out on the deck, soak in the clawfoot tub, enjoy the fast wifi – or walk or drive over to Belfast center - it's close! This coastal town is truly a gem, but if you’d like to explore further afield, it’s also an excellent base for day trips to Camden (30 minutes) or Acadia National Park (1.25 hours.) Belfast celebrates diversity. We welcome guests from all backgrounds.

The Barn

I call my place "The Barn" because as I was finishing it it took the shape and feel of a barn. It's not a barn. It's a quiet post and beam open concept building (a Jamaica Cottages kit) set among the fields of Appleton, Maine. You'll sleep in the loft or on a futon on the main floor. The bathroom is huge, 10X10, with a heated floor. It's an open concept kitchen and living space. From Appleton you are 20 miles away from the tourist destinations of Camden, Rockland, and Belfast.

Work, play, & relax at Brook Ridge Retreat! Come visit your Colby or Thomas College student and have the comforts of home. Do some grilling or cook up a favorite meal in the full kitchen. Remotely connect to work or school at our custom-made desk and dedicated office area with wireless printer and available computer monitor. The cabin overlooks peaceul Sandy Pond, inhabited by bald eagles, loons, and herons. Watch beautiful sunrises and sunsets, fish and kayak from our dock. We're close to coastal Belfast, Unity, MOFGA (annual Common Ground Fair), Waterville, Acadia and Camden. Eat at The Lost Kitchen, visit the Amish, hike the Hills to Sea Trail.
