Little Oak barn

Little oak Barn is a self contained annex that sits 2.5 miles outside the village of Raglan which offers a good selection of Restaurants, a village store and a garden centre. Brecon Beacons National Park and the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are both within 10 miles. For those that like mountain walking, you will be spoilt for choice. It boasts oak beams, ingle nook fireplace with wood burner and a large airy cruck beamed bedroom with stunning far reaching views east over Herefordshire countryside. Enjoy the morning sun over breakfast, near the open door and listen to the birds.

Step into Jinks Cottage and I hope you step into a real ‘home from home’. A cosy cottage with a fabulous & foodie local pub, right on Offa’s Dyke path. The emphasis is on luxury and comfort in this well-equipped, warm, welcoming cottage. Originally built in the 13th century, Jinks Cottage was home to the village cobbler (called Jinks), his wife and six children. Now carefully restored, it provides a spacious country retreat for four, plus your four-legged friends, as we’re very dog friendly!

Pineapple Cottage - Chepstow Town Centre (Wales)

17th Century cottage in the heart of Chepstow, close to Offa's Dyke & the Wye Valley. Tucked down a little cobbled street in the town centre, it’s a small but perfectly formed cottage ideal for a couple or a young family. There’s a secret door leading to the second bedroom, where you’ll even get a glimpse of Chepstow Castle from the window. It’s an ideal base for weddings at St Tewdrics (we’ve even hosted the bride and groom!) or for walking and cycling in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley.

Walkers Rest at The Hayloft - The Brecon Beacons

Nestled in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, this recent addition to an (ex) 1800s pub is a cosy yet spacious self catering space. Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. The gardens retain many original features including formal terraces, octagonal pool, glasshouse, pergola and 100 ft long double herbaceous borders. There are spectacular views to the Brecon Beacons

A delightful cottage set below the Blorenge mountain in the historic village of Llanfoist. The Counting House offers character with modern facilities fully renovated in 2020. Conveniently located just a 5 minute walk to both the picturesque Monmouthshire and Brecon canal and the Abergavenny-Brynmawr cycle track and is a great base for hill walking in the Black Mountains and the local Abergavenny 3 peaks. The Old Cider Mill

The Old Cider Mill is a beautifully converted old cider barn set in the wonderfully peaceful monmouthshire countryside. The cottage is a fabulous romantic and tranquil retreat set in one acre of meadow and adjoining spinney. Perfectly situated to explore all the wye valley, and nearby forest of dean, has to offer. This cosy cottage sleeps two guests and has an open plan living area with a woodburning stove. Outside is lovely gravelled courtyard with furniture and off road parking.

Characterful Grade II listed 3 bed cottage

The Steps is a beautiful 16th century cottage located in Grosmont, a quiet village on the edge of the Brecon Beacons. Perfect for a rural getaway where you can immerse yourself in the stunning surroundings, with wonderful walks available from straight out of the front door including the Three Castles walk (linking the three Norman castles of Grosmont, Skenfrith and White Castle). Food lovers will enjoy the excellent choice of nearby pubs, restaurants and local producers.

Dan y Berllan Pantygelli Abergavenny

Dan y Berllan is one of two cottages on a working hill farm in the Brecon Beacons National Park, it means "under the orchard" The cottages are self catering but should you not wish to cook, to the top of our drive is The Crown Inn , a lovely village pub serving amazing food. The market town Abergavenny is all but a stone's throw away by car. Surrounded by beautiful countryside with amazing walks ,the cottage is perfected located to take a stroll or a long trek .

With commanding views over Monmouth, the Wye Valley and beyond, Wern Farm Cottage is a cosy but spacious recluse ideally situated for all that Monmouthshire has to offer. Light, airy and welcoming with zip and link beds. We can accommodate 2-4 flexible to your needs. We are in a great spot for the Forest of Dean, the Brecon Beacons, Bike Park Wales, Cannop Cycle Centre and the Offa’s Dyke Path. There are lovely walks right from the door and so much to do nearby!
