The corner windows offer one of the best perspectives in KC. All 8 guest rooms have private bedrooms & bathrooms. Heads up: our lobby bar is open most Wed–Sat, with quiet hours starting at 1 AM. Not ideal for light sleepers! There’s no TV, and our linens lean crisp over cushy, thanks to the commercial sanitizing service we use.

Historic Commercial Hotel(1868),Sally Rand Suite

The Historic Commercial Hotel (Est.1868) on the Downtown square in beautiful Osceola,Missouri. Old world feel with modernized accommodations. The Historic Commercial Hotel has numerous themed rooms which are designed and named after past historical guests. This specific room is "The Sally Rand Suite". Named after past historical guest Sally Rand ( 1904 – 1979) who was an American burlesque dancer and Silver Screen star, most noted for her ostrich feather fan dance and balloon bubble dance.

“The Classic” at Rockwood Motor Court on Route 66.

Rockwood Motor Court, built in 1929, is located on historic Route 66. Each room is themed and furnished to the era of Route 66. “The Classic” showcases the automobiles on road in the 1940’s and 50’s. This room features vintage furniture, a full size bed, bathroom with dressing area, and corner shower. Renovated in 2019, enjoy a clean, comfortable room and experience authentic motor court lodging. Need more space? We also have larger rooms and can package multiple rooms for your group.

The Woodsman Suite

A third floor suite, facing the river with the train tracks only a couple blocks away. It took 2 months to do the ceiling. Carefully polished and placed the old lath in a specific design, the ceiling is a work of art. Eighty percent of the material used in this room is from re purposed lumber, either from this building or from a childhood barn built in the late 1800's. It will take you a while to notice every detail down to the toilet paper holder which is from an old barn post.

The Hope Loft Suite, located on the second floor of Casa Di Vite International Wine Café," in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, offers a delightful place to stay. A Lovely room in a historical St. Louis home! The Victorian Room is on the 2nd floor, and has a recently renovated and beautiful bathroom complete with a walk-in rain shower. The room has a desk, chair, lamp, table, an elegant dresser and huge walk in closet for hanging clothes and storing other items. The room has large street facing windows for natural light during the day. Full use of the kitchen upstairs is available!
