Roaring Fork Chalet Long Range Views Mt Mitchell

The chalet is a warm and comfy place to relax, cool off, hike/bike a trail or two, enjoy long-range views as the chalet elevation is 3,383 feet (Mt Mitchell is 6,683), listen to some good music, sip your favorite drink and rejuvenate your soul. NO four-wheel drive is needed to get to the chalet EXCEPT possibly in the winter months. The mountain roads are curvy and the subdivision is steep in parts but ALL the roads are paved and well maintained. Dog accepted w/ prior approval (fee applies).

One-bedroom cabin w/ air conditioner, heaters, queen bed, full kitchen, living area, and bathroom with hot shower & indoor dry-flush toilet (does not use water). TV, Wifi, linens, dishes, coffee/tea, breakfast foods, fridge/freezer, microwave, fire pit, picnic table, and more! Just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway! Explore our 5 acre property and visit the small pond in back. Please ensure pets are leashed - we have ducks. The hosts also live on the property in a separate house.

Come stay minutes away from the beautiful Linville Gorge. This area has everything from amazing hiking, mountain biking, climbing, skiing, snowtubing, to just enjoying the breathtaking scenery. This is a one bedroom guest house separate from the main house located in the neighborhood of Gingercake Acres with an amazing view throughout the space. There is also a bonus room with a futon. Enjoy sitting on the deck and enjoying a view of the mountains and a spectacular sunrise.
