The Kondhan home is a Mud-Brick house. Built in 2013 with locally available materials and least disturbance to the existing landscape. It blends with the tribal houses in the area. We were inspired by the famous Architect Laurie Baker and his philosophy. Mud walls/Terracotta double roof Tiles/ Wooden Pillars and beams connected by bearing and pintles/Terracotta flooring/2 open bedrooms. Price includes breakfast. Lunch and dinner, if needed, would be charged extra.

It is painted with natural colors and has an attached bathroom with a European commode and traditional Indian-style bathing (bucket and mug, no shower). There’s no AC or TV, in line with our eco-conscious living. Ideal for guests who enjoy quiet, minimal, and grounded spaces with simple comforts.
