Fully self catering, 2 bedroom farm cottage, 1 double bed, 1 king bed/twin, each with en suite bathroom. Plunge pool, firepit, Wifi, aircon, indoor fireplace, barbecue. Linen & towels provided. 4x4 or high clearance strongly advised PLEASE NOTE THAT THE AIRCONS ARE PROVIDED FOR COOLING THE HOUSES IN THE HOT SUMMER MONTHS BETWEEN OCTOBER AND APRIL, NOT FOR HEATING AS THE FARM IS ON SOLAR. Electric blankets, blankets, duvets, hot water bottles are provided and each house has a fireplace.

This rustic and romantic cottage is situated adjacent to Die Waenhuis restaurant, in the heart of Nieu-Bethesda. Surrounded by beautiful views, guests can access a variety of walks, Restaurants, shops and the Owl House from here. Our cottage boasts a typical Karoo style open-plan kitchen, Dover stove, living room, en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, main bedroom with double bed, spare room with two single beds. Entertainment patio overlooking the courtyard and garden.

A centrally-located home for friends & families to stop over or spend a few days exploring the spacious Karoo. The cottage boasts 2 large en-suite bedrooms, a comfortable living room & equipped kitchen. The well maintained garden provides space to stretch your legs & marvel at the Karoo sky. There is a fully kitted kitchen with Nespresso Machine, a separate living, dining & outside area with a Webber Braai. An outside shower with a view to the stars & Spandaukop gives you the perfect Karoo feeling.

Playwright's House, Nieu-Bethesda

This unpretentious, rustic and secluded Karoo home is where internationally acclaimed playwright and writer Athol Fugard wrote between 1990 and 2017. It's on the peaceful northeastern corner of our quaint village. Crystal-clear Karoo air, intense night skies, crackling winter fires, tranquillity. The cottage draws travellers, explorers, friends & families seeking connection; and it's an inspiring creative space.

Charming Heritage Cottage

This historic townhouse is within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. The private courtyard is ideal for a braai (barbecue), or a quiet coffee. The house is child-friendly, and pets are welcome too. A gun-safe is provided, ideal for hunters. The stove is gas, so cooking during load-shedding is never a problem! As with many Graaff-Reinet houses, there is ONLY ON-STREET PARKING. There is also no TV.
